Our Story

Twilight Loom Co. began with a simple idea: a blanket can be more than something warm. It can tell a story.

Long before stories were printed in books, they were woven. Knights and unicorns, hunting scenes and enchanted forests filled the great tapestries that hung in castles and halls, keeping out the cold while carrying legends from one generation to the next. Those tapestries were never just decoration. They were how a home remembered its stories.

We wanted to bring that feeling into the homes of today.

Where It Begins

Every Twilight Loom Co. design begins in Belgium, a country with a centuries-old tapestry tradition. The workshops of Brussels and Oudenaarde once wove some of the most celebrated tapestries in Europe. We don't try to copy them. We borrow their spirit: rich detail, deep, earthy color, and a love of stories that never grow old.

Each design starts as a story first. A dragon guarding its castle. A sun and moon sharing the same sky. A fox at the edge of a folk-art meadow. Only when the story feels right does it become a pattern ready to be woven.

Our designs are gathered into seven collections, each its own small world:

From Imagination to Your Home

  1. Imagined in Belgium. Every design is created with care, from the first sketch to the final color palette.
  2. Woven to Order. Your blanket is woven only after you choose it. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting.
  3. On Its Way to You. Each piece is woven and shipped from North Carolina, USA, and usually arrives within 3–7 business days in the US (6–10 to Canada) after it ships.
  4. Part of Your Story. From there, it becomes yours: on the sofa, across the bed, or on the wall.

Designed to Be Lived With

Our blankets are woven from 100% cotton yarn and finished with colorful fringed edges. They come in three throw sizes, from a cozy 52 × 37 in (132 × 94 cm) to a generous 80 × 60 in (203 × 152 cm).

Drape one over the sofa for movie nights, spread it across the foot of the bed, or hang it on the wall as a tapestry, just as they did centuries ago. They are made to be used, washed, loved, and passed down as part of your story.
